SparWolle Knitting Shawl "Cable" Pattern

This pattern is for our intermediate "Cable" knit shawl. It can be knitted with our 3- or 4-ply Bobbel in any size.

Here we have worked with the Bobbel Byzantium.

Required knowledge:

knit stitch
purl stitch
left increase
knit through back loop
slip stitch purlwise
slip stitches and hold in front or back of work.

An extra needle is required for the cable patterns.

The pattern consists of repeating rows that can be worked until the desired size is reached.

For the example shown, we worked with a 4-ply Bobbel with a running length of 850 m and 3.0 mm needles.
This results in a shawl that is approximately 1.70 m wide along the long edge and approximately 0.75 m deep.

The pattern is in chart form. The individual rows are not written out.
However, all symbols in the knitting chart are explained.
